Loaner Car Requirements
The Lexus loaner car service is available for all eligible drivers at no additional charge when you bring your vehicle in for service. To be eligible for a loaner car, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Present a valid driver’s license when you sign for the loaner car
- Present proof of auto insurance
- Use a major credit card at signing
Vehicle Usage and Restrictions
As outlined in the loaner car policy, you agree that a loaner vehicle can only be driven by the drivers listed on your insurance policy. You must also keep the vehicle within a 175-mile radius of the dealership and keep all pets out of the car. Drivers also assume all responsibility for traffic and parking violations.
Loaner Fees
The Lexus loaner car policy also outlines fees and charges associated with the loaner vehicle. You’ll be charged $100 per day if you don’t return the vehicle within 24 hours after we tell you that your car is ready. We also operate a non-smoking policy; violators will be charged $150. Finally, you must return the loaner car with the same amount of fuel it had when you signed for it; otherwise, you’ll be charged $5.00 per missing gallon.
